Rehbar / رہبر /  रहबर is “a guide”. True to its name, the Delhi-based band Rehbar is “guiding” the course, even revolutionising, the way live music is performed and presented in India. Founded in 2016 by Noshi Ali,  Rehbar’s strength is in bringing to audiences a wide range of musical genres, which include Bollywood hits, Sufi songs, ghazals, semi-classical, English chartbusters, and decade-wise hit songs (Hindi and English).  ‌The band’s USP lies in exploring fresher voices and sounds, collaborating and experimenting with artists from all over India. The band’s “unplugged” gigs are a hit with the audiences, both in India and abroad. Rehbar’s musical collaborations with other artists of repute makes it one of the more successful collectives to emerge from India in the recent times. Rehbar’s aim through these collaborations is simple – giving audiences an unparalleled listening experience. ‌Rehbar has done its live acts in several colleges, private parties, pubs and cafes of New Delhi, and has also performed in Algeria and Tunisia.  ‌Besides performing live acts to a growing fan base, the band is currently working on its album of original songs.
